- increase your deductible.
- if your vehicle is an older one, consider liability only insurance.
- consider taking a defensive driving course. Your coverage rates could be 10% less !
- make sure you get new insurance quotes from various companies every couple of years, at least.
- when you are getting your quotes; make sure to mention any limitations on your use of the vehicle. As in, don't use it for work, don't drive it during the week, etc.
- if you have more than one vehicle; insure them all with the same firm. You should get a substantial discount if you insure more than one vehicle.
